流行樂界的"Piano Man"-比利喬，1949年出生於約長島的Billy Joel，自幼小便開始學習鋼琴，流行樂壇中眾多的超級巨星之一，他在七零年代中早期崛起於歌壇，其風格擅長以鋼琴作曲寫詞，並且能多方融合披頭四的輕快旋律感、百老匯的戲劇性與錫盤巷的華麗管弦編制於一爐，使得他在1975年重新以一曲感人肺腑的半自傳歌曲〈Piano Man〉一舉獲得美國各地中產階級的廣大喜愛，並同時也讓他逐漸擠入流行搖滾巨星的行列。（Source:新力音樂[專輯特報]）

是Billy Joel為經紀人妻子Elizabethan譜寫當作生日禮物，這首歌一推出感動了一拖拉庫的人，不但拿下流行榜的第3名，而且在1978年的葛萊美獎獲得「年度最佳歌曲」及「年度最佳唱片」：
